If you are like most people, you are unknowingly using many of these toxic ingredients in your beauty regimen by rubbing them on your face, on your scalp, on your hands, and all over your skin - which is the BIGGEST ORGAN in your body.
As of the year 2018, there were 3200 ingredients that hide behind the word “fragrance.” A company can use all of these ingredients in their products and label them with simply the word “fragrance.”
These synthetic chemicals can include potential hormone distruptors, neurotoxins, and phthlates. Some of the issues caused by these ingredients can be depression, hyperactivity, and irritability.
Phthlates are commonly found in products like soaps and lotions. Studies show these ingredients can damage vital organs such as kidneys, liver and reproductive organs.
More than 500 products sold in the US are made with ingredients that are banned in Europe, Canada and Japan.
And the worst part is... most of these ingredients have not even been tested for human safety! This is so scary as we have no idea what our bodies are being exposed to every single day in health and beauty items, in medicines, and many other things.
So the vision and heart behind this course comes from 2 things:
These 2 events sent me searching for healthy alternatives. We still get sick, have pain, etc, and of course we still want to feel better. But we want to feel better while reducing our risk of toxic exposure and subsequent long-term problems.
In this course, we will be learning about some of the dangers of conventional ingredients, then talking about the benefits of the DIY Detox Your Body items you will be making. You will be given a list at the beginning of each class stating the ingredients you will need to make each item. Then I will show you how to make each one.

In this lesson, I give you my background into natural health and why it is so important to me. I also go over essentials oils, their benefits, and how to use them.
